Building Our Train Station
For all the track we laid, even in its folded dog bone configuration, is was simply an oval of track. Not a single terminus. endlessly looping forever. We need a reason to have all this passenger equipment. A place to stop and park our trains. We need a train station. What better place than along the edge of the patio? And how better to disguise the planters than as a train station?
We started with the station siding. We progressed to the first iteration roof over them. We then rebuilt it into a proper station, complete with platform and copper clad roof.
